Farmhouse Tuscany: farm Alberese Natural Park of Uccellina.

The farm was born during the thirties when the owners’ fathers arrived from Veneto to keeping on the marshlands reclamation. In fact the name Magnaboschi derives from a little village situated in the Asiago’s upland. 

The farmhouse, located in the northeast of Alberese at 500 mt from S.P. 59, was born in 1993 from those rooms that were previously used as warehouses and now they are renovated according to the architectural standard of the region. Our guests will be received with the typical kindness and warmth of Our Maremma, in a beloved land still rich in natural, artistic and historical beauties.
They could stay in bedrooms and apartments, enjoy themselves from our homemade breakfast and buy extra virgin olive oil and vegetables.

Magnaboschi rises at the foot of the Natural Park of Uccellina, dipped in the luxuriant nature, very near the seaside, an ideal place for every kind of excursion. Nature, sport, relaxation and seaside are waiting for you in a mild climate, well-known between tourists and lovers of our lands.

Our farm is integrated in a project of Natural Park of Maremma to organize and mantain structures in line with a guide line to respect environment.
So, we join to a ‘ ecological disciplinary rule’ proposed by Natural Park, in order to improve services for tourist respecting saving of resources (for example : reduction of use of bowl, use of ecological paper, saving of water and energy, collection of waste, promotion of the territory and possibility to have training by park itself).

MAGNABOSCHI is in line with requirements of E.Vi.Med project for SUSTAINABLE TOURISM
We partecipated and linked to E. Vi. Med. Netwok – ‘Balance of life in the Mediterranean’ – E. Vi. Med. Is a project financed by European Interreg. Programm III B – MEDOCC (Occidental Mediterranean) that involves 5 areas in mediterranean Europe in order to pursue common goals for carrying out a balanced and sustanaible development of tourism, which saves local resources, which suggests practices and makes more aware on use of water, energy, waste management, and which makes available instruments to apply these practices.
For example we chose to setting with right bulbs, with timer of light in common areas, fan (and not air conditionater) good to make nice staying in rooms, in becouse of warm, windy and little damp weather, boxes to separate collection of waste.
